Donatech Corporation is seeking experienced Systems Security Engineers / Cyber Engineers to support Raytheon Technologies (RTX) in Fullerton CA. This role supports the Systems Security Engineering (SSE) team responsible for protecting critical defense systems and ensuring cybersecurity compliance across embedded weapons platforms.
You will work on highly visible defense programs focused on protecting the warfighters technological advantage by implementing cybersecurity and system security engineering solutions across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Support implementation of Systems Security Engineering (SSE) solutions within RTX products
Develop and maintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation for Authority to Operate (ATO)
Perform analysis of cybersecurity test data and security assessment results
Validate secure configuration of network devices servers operating systems applications and infrastructure
Conduct vulnerability assessments using tools such as Nessus STIG Evaluate STIG and RADIX
Ensure compliance with NIST RMF cybersecurity controls
Develop and implement system security architecture and secure system designs
Create cybersecurity artifacts such as patch media security documentation and information assurance reports
Support program protection implementation for embedded defense systems
Participate in system security requirements design reviews and cybersecurity integration activities
Collaborate with program management engineering teams suppliers and customers on security solutions
Support proposal development planning project tracking and risk mitigation strategies (Principal level)
Basic Qualifications (Senior P3)
Bachelors degree in STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics)
5 years of experience in cybersecurity systems security engineering or embedded system security
Experience supporting DoD cybersecurity programs
Experience with RMF NIST security controls and ATO accreditation processes
Experience generating security requirements design artifacts and security plans
Active Secret Security Clearance required prior to start
Experience using DoD cybersecurity assessment tools (Nessus STIG Evaluate STIG RADIX)
Additional Qualifications (Principal P4)
8 years of relevant experience in Systems Security Engineering or Cybersecurity
Experience designing and implementing secure embedded system solutions for DoD programs
Experience leading cybersecurity engineering activities or teams
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments
Experience defining system security architectures and security implementation strategies
Experience interacting with customers and program management to define security solutions
Preferred Qualifications
Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP CEH GSLC (DoDD 8570 / DoDD 8140 compliant)
Experience with Linux Bash or Python scripting
Experience supporting defense aerospace programs
Strong analytical collaboration and communication skills
Experience working with embedded systems security and supply chain risk management
