Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and self-driven Mechanical Engineer to manage end-to-end engineering projects within the marine industry. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in mechanical design manufacturing processes and project execution with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently manage end-to-end engineering projects for marine industry applications
  • Design and develop a wide range of marine products including metal components towers flooring systems and board racks
  • Develop and maintain project schedules monitor milestones and track vendor performance
  • Collaborate with suppliers customers leadership and cross-functional engineering teams
  • Prepare product cost estimates manufacturing plans and production requirements
  • Lead project reviews approvals and technical discussions with stakeholders
  • Support prototype development pre-production builds and sample validation with proper documentation
  • Perform mechanical design CAD modeling and creation of detailed engineering drawings
  • Apply GD&T standards and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) and engineering change processes
  • Provide hands-on support in manufacturing and process engineering activities
  • Drive process selection tooling and fixture design and DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) analysis
  • Contribute to business case development customer interactions and growth initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE/ in Mechanical Engineering)
  • Proven experience in mechanical design and product development
  • Strong proficiency in CAD tools and engineering drawing standards
  • Working knowledge of GD&T BOM management and engineering change control
  • Experience in manufacturing processes tooling and DFMA principles
  • Excellent project management and coordination skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the marine industry or related domains
  • Exposure to prototype development and production support
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
