Job Title: Python Developer

Role Overview/Job Responsibilities

Seeking an experienced Python Developer for a 6month engagement to design build and deploy reusable APIdriven integrations and automation across Confluence Box DCIM tools ServiceNow and AWS. Candidate will work independently deliver productionquality code documentation tests and deployment support.

Key responsibilities

• Build Python SDKs/wrappers and microservices/serverless functions to integrate Confluence Box DCIM ServiceNow and AWS.
• Implement event-driven and scheduled workflows (webhooks SNS/SQS Lambda Celery).
• Automate content sync metadata/permissions provisioning/deprovisioning CMDB updates and DCIM reconciliation.
• Create CI/CD pipelines and IaC (GitHub Actions/Jenkins Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Write unit/integration tests maintain code quality (PEP8 typing) and perform code reviews.
• Produce API docs runbooks deployment guides and provide deployment/oncall support. Required skills
• 5 years Python development experience with integrations/APIs.
• Strong REST API experience and ability to build robust API clients (auth retries pagination).
• Experience integrating at least three of: Confluence Box ServiceNow DCIM (e.g. Nlyte/Sunbird) AWS (Lambda S3 IAM).
• Experience with serverless/event-driven patterns and containerization (Docker).
• CI/CD IaC automated testing (pytest) and Git workflow experience.
• Security best practices for secrets auth and data protection. Deliverables
• Reusable Python SDKs/wrappers with tests and examples.
• Integration services or Lambdas implementing key workflows.
• CI/CD pipelines and IaC templates for deployment.
• Automated test suites operational runbooks and final handover docs. Success criteria
• Core integrations demoed in staging with passing endtoend tests.
• Productionready deployment artifacts and runbooks.
• Stakeholder signoff and no critical defects 30 days postgolive. Preferred
• ServiceNow development experience Gen. DCIM vendor experience async frameworks (FastAPI/asyncio) AWS certifications.
