Job Summary
Job Title: Cloud Engineer
Location: Hybrid (Washington DC / Macon GA / Boyers PA)
Duration: 1 Year Base 4 Option Years
Job Description:
Design deploy manage and optimize cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise systems and modernization programs across hybrid Federal environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy secure cloud infrastructure solutions
- Support migration of on-premise systems to cloud environments
- Manage networking compute storage and IAM configurations
- Implement monitoring backup disaster recovery and continuity processes
- Optimize cost performance and scalability of cloud resources
- Apply security baselines and compliance standards
- Troubleshoot cloud platform issues and incidents
- Support Infrastructure as Code deployments
- Collaborate with architects DevOps and security teams
- Maintain technical documentation and environment standards
Minimum Requirements & Education
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 5 8 years of relevant experience
Required Qualifications
- Prior Federal experience required
- Experience with AWS / Azure cloud platforms
- Knowledge of networking security and IAM
- Experience with Terraform / ARM / CloudFormation preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS / Azure certifications
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud programs
