Warehouse Operative - Depot: Greater Manchester - Reporting to: Floor Manager

We have 3 have branches 2 in Glasgow and 1 at Gateshead in the North East of England and we are about to open a new branch in the Greater Manchester area. We are primarily a Cash & Carry Wholesale business with a wide product portfolio consisting of Beers Wines Spirits Soft Drinks Confectionary Crisps and Snacks Household and Grocery.
Responsibilities:
Merchandising
Stock replenishment following correct procedures
Taking responsibility for the zone that you work in; this includes ensuring good housekeeping standards are maintained
Supporting other departments as required
Answering Customer Queries
Skills Required:
- Excellent work ethic is required as well as punctuality and reliability
- Initiative and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good time management as you will be working at speed
- Good attention to detail and careful precision to meet targets
- Able to work quickly and to deadlines
- Confidence using handheld computerised tills and barcode scanners
- Excellent customer service skills
