Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join an acute care hospital setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality therapy services to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions helping them regain independence and functional ability.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop personalized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Provide therapy for patients with neurological orthopedic and general medical conditions
• Support ICU and acute care patients in improving mobility and daily living skills
• Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary care teams
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation strategies and recovery plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems
• Follow established clinical protocols and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1518 months of recent Occupational Therapy experience
• Active Georgia Occupational Therapist License (required)
• AHA BLS Certification (required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior acute care experience
• Experience with ICU neuro and orthopedic patient populations

Work Environment

• Acute Care Occupational Therapy Department
• Exposure to diverse patient populations including:
  • ICU patients
  • Stroke and neurological conditions
  • Orthopedic cases
  • General medical/surgical patients

Technology

• EMR System: Cerner (One Chart)
