Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join an acute care hospital setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality therapy services to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions helping them regain independence and functional ability.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop personalized occupational therapy treatment plans
Provide therapy for patients with neurological orthopedic and general medical conditions
Support ICU and acute care patients in improving mobility and daily living skills
Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary care teams
Educate patients and families on rehabilitation strategies and recovery plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems
Follow established clinical protocols and best practices
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1518 months of recent Occupational Therapy experience
Active Georgia Occupational Therapist License (required)
AHA BLS Certification (required)
Preferred Qualifications
Prior acute care experience
Experience with ICU neuro and orthopedic patient populations
Work Environment
Acute Care Occupational Therapy Department
Exposure to diverse patient populations including:
ICU patients
Stroke and neurological conditions
Orthopedic cases
General medical/surgical patients
Technology
EMR System: Cerner (One Chart)
