Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join an acute care hospital setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality therapy services to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions helping them regain independence and functional ability.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop personalized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapy for patients with neurological orthopedic and general medical conditions
- Support ICU and acute care patients in improving mobility and daily living skills
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation strategies and recovery plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems
- Follow established clinical protocols and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1518 months of recent Occupational Therapy experience
- Active Georgia Occupational Therapist License (required)
- AHA BLS Certification (required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior acute care experience
- Experience with ICU neuro and orthopedic patient populations
Work Environment
- Acute Care Occupational Therapy Department
- Exposure to diverse patient populations including:
- ICU patients
- Stroke and neurological conditions
- Orthopedic cases
- General medical/surgical patients
Technology
- EMR System: Cerner (One Chart)
