Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join an acute care team in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered therapy services across a wide range of medical and surgical conditions helping patients regain independence and functional ability.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Provide therapy services for patients with neurological orthopedic and general medical conditions
Work with ICU and acute care patients to improve functional mobility and daily living skills
Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery strategies
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems
Follow hospital protocols and evidence-based practices
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1518 months of recent Occupational Therapy experience
Active Georgia Occupational Therapist License (required)
AHA BLS Certification (required)
Preferred Qualifications
Prior acute care hospital experience
Experience working with ICU neuro and orthopedic patients
Work Environment
Acute Care Occupational Therapy Department
Exposure to diverse patient populations including:
ICU patients
Stroke and neurological conditions
Orthopedic cases
General medical/surgical patients
Technology
EMR System: Cerner (One Chart)
