Job Summary
Fabric Cutter
Responsible for accurately measuring marking and cutting upholstery fabric according to specifications while maintaining high quality standards and minimizing material waste.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure mark and hand-cut fabric leather and patterned materials
- Ensure correct pattern alignment color matching and material usage
- Follow production specifications and work orders
- Inspect cut materials for accuracy and quality
- Maintain a clean safe and efficient work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
Qualifications
- Experience in upholstery or furniture fabric cutting
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Hand-cutting experience required
- Knowledge of cutting tools (Eastman knife a plus)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
