Location: Cumming GA Job Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks)
Shift & Schedule
Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM 4:30 PM)
Schedule: 5 Days per Week
Weekend Requirement: Minimum 2 weekends per 4 weeks (up to 4 preferred)
On-Call: Not Required

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an acute care team in a hospital setting. The role involves evaluating and treating patients with a wide range of medical conditions including neurological respiratory and post-surgical complications.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate diagnose and treat speech language and swallowing disorders
Manage patients with dysphagia stroke neurological and respiratory conditions
Provide care across multiple units including ICU and acute care floors
Perform bedside swallow evaluations and therapy sessions
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and progress
Required Qualifications
Active Georgia SLP License
CCC-SLP Certification (required)
BLS Certification
Minimum 1518 months of recent SLP experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in acute care settings
Experience with MBS (Modified Barium Swallow) and FEES (preferred not required)
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Patient Population
Acute care patients across hospital units
ICU neurological stroke dysphagia and respiratory cases
