Buyer | Europe Central (Remote) | Permanent (Full-Time, 40 Hours)

The purpose of this role is to administer all purchasing activities within an assigned area. Responsible for negotiation and documentation of assigned contracts and obtaining goods and services at best value. Fosters relations provides technical and specialized support to requesters.

• Complete required work on assigned requests including price analysis vendor analysis and follow-up of the least complex and least costly purchases to see that orders are delivered timely accurately and at best value
• Provide service to requestors by explaining policy resolving issues of limited complexity expediting providing product information and support of general nature.
• Source required goods and services through the entire process with guidance from supervisor.
• Complete special projects of limited complexity as assigned.
• Supplier relationship and Partner relationship management: fosters good relations with suppliers and partners.

As a Buyer you will support the sourcing of goods and services by working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver valuedriven compliant sourcing outcomes. You will be involved in endtoend purchasing activities from reviewing requisitions and placing purchase orders through to supporting competitive sourcing exercises where no existing contracts are in place.

The role includes engaging with stakeholders to clarify requirements analyzing suppliers and supply markets supporting RFQs and RFPs and working collaboratively with suppliers to manage delivery and resolve issues. This position is ideal for someone building a career in procurement supply chain purchasing or commercial operations including candidates with transferable experience from operations finance logistics or vendor management.

• Required Qualifications: BA or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Developing professional with commensurate understanding and experience in application of effective purchasing principles.
• High command in English is required. Any addition European languages will be a plus.
