ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.

We have just mobilised 4 x new camps in Central Queensland and have exciting opportunities for experienced Catering Supervisors to join our teams in the Middlemount and Moura region.

This role is 14 days on 7 days off and is drive-in drive-out therefore locals are encouraged to apply.

The Position

• You will be responsible for leading a team within our catering department to ensure optimal service delivery ensuring we comply with our contractual obligations
• You will be a driven individual that is able to train lead and motivate your team working alongside management to achieve desired results
• This is a hands on role

The Person

• Proven experience in a similar supervisory role
• Food Handling Certificate (desirable)
• Commercial experience (Hotel Mining or Resort environment preferable)
• Ability to lead a successful team and have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility of the teams overall performance
• Commitment and ability to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create implement and evaluate training and procedures
