As a Security Officer Patrol Monitor in Omaha NE you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control activities respond to alarms and deliver outstanding customer service and a role shaped by teamwork and integrity you will help create a professional environment while making a meaningful impact each day.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or vendors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility entry points parking areas and perimeter to help identify suspicious activity unsecured access points and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entrances and exits verifying credentials when required and reporting unauthorized or concerning activity according to site protocols.
• Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence assisting with directions and general inquiries and following post orders related to patrol duties and incident response.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
