Solution Architect SAP BI

Position Overview

As a Solution Architect SAP BI you willbe responsible fordesigning developing and evolvingdormakabasglobal reporting solutions across the SAP BI landscape. Working at the intersection of business and IT you will translate reporting requirements into scalable efficient and standardized solutions supporting consistent and benchmarkable reporting across regions and functions.

What you will do

• Act as a proactive business partner analyzing and consulting reporting requirements for business functions acrossdormakaba.
• Design implement andmaintainglobal SAP BI reporting solutions including SAPBusinessWarehouse(BW) SAP Datasphere (DSP) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Deliver strategic group wide reporting projects end to end from project preparation through Go Live and Hypercare.
• Coordinate and steer external consultants and offshore partners including knowledge transfer and training.
• Manage and resolve support topics (requests incidents) as 2nd / 3rd level support within a Global Service Delivery Organization.
• Apply and promote global reporting standards to ensure simplicity efficiency and alignment across local area and group reporting solutions.
• Consult business stakeholders to ensure reporting figures are consistent comparable and suitable for benchmarking.

What we require

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in SAP BI environments ideally in an international or consulting context.
• Strong handsonexpertisewith SAP Datasphere (DSP) including data and view modeling administration roles and system connectivity.
• Solid experience with SAP BW on HANA including data modeling ETL design queries and authorizations.
• Experience working in national and international IT projects with multiple stakeholders.Strong analytical process and project management skills
• Fluent in English.

What we prefer

• Experience with SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC).
• Good knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting planning and administration is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects / Analysis for Microsoft Office (AfO).
• ABAP programming HANA calculation views orBExSuite experience.
• Understanding of SAP ERP systems (ECC / S/4HANA) and business processes (e.g. FI CO MM SD).
• German language skills.
