Product Security Architect

Role and responsibilities
Delaval is seeking a Product Security Architect to lead the secure-by-design architecture strategy across our connected this role you will lead the strategic direction for secure product architecture enabling engineering and design teams through cross-functional collaboration with product development digital services and product management.
Some of the key responsibilities are:
- Define and maintain DeLavals Product Security Architecture Framework including patterns reference architectures and secure design principles.
- Lead secure architecture design for embedded systems robotics cloud services APIs and mobile applications.
- Serve as the primary technical security advisor to engineering leads architects and product managers.
- Provide guidance on secure coding secure communication protocols identity and access control and system hardening.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role we believe that you have:
- Extensive experience in designing and architecting product security program cybersecurity architecture or industrial/IoT security.
- Strong understanding of IEC 62443 CRA secure development lifecycle and modern product security practices.
- Experience designing or reviewing architectures for embedded systems robotics cloud or IoT platforms.
- Ability to influence engineering and product teams without direct authority.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical risk into business language.
- Experience in regulated or safety critical environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with SBOM PSIRT processes and coordinated vulnerability disclosure.
- Knowledge of CE marking conformity assessment and EU regulatory frameworks.
- Certifications such as CISSP CSSLP GICSP or ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert.
