A well-established independent garage in Dartford is expanding and looking for a skilled MOT Tester and Service Technician to join its busy professional workshop.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified tester who enjoys steady straightforward work without the pressure of major engine rebuilds or complex diagnostic jobs.

The workshop has a strong local reputation a consistent workflow and offers genuine work-life balance with no weekend commitments.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA standards
• Completing routine servicing and basic mechanical work
• Identifying and reporting any additional repair requirements
• Maintaining accurate job records and compliance documentation
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

Requirements

• Valid MOT Tester licence
• Experience carrying out routine servicing and light mechanical repairs
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy independent workshop
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Salary and Benefits

• salary
• Monday to Friday 8:00am 5:30pm (30-minute lunch)
• No weekends
• Closed from Christmas to New Year
