Shipping Analyst

• Handling post fixture voyage claims
• Manage invoice issuance and post-fixture voyage claims in accordance with contractual term.
• Handling hires and other claims of ship owners.
• Collaborate with Finance team on operational profitability budgeting variances and basic financial accounting.
• Time charterers and pools contract management.
• Voyage profit and loss analysis and reporting
• Follow up with counterparties for timely payment and keeping records of outstanding amounts
• Monitor Shipping portfolio to ensure accurate market exposure management

Qualifications :

• University degree in Maritime or an equivalent field.
• At least 2 years relevant experience in post fixture claims with a reputed tanker owner commercial tanker operator oil major or oil trader
• Experienced in financial accounting would be an added advantage
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Proactive meticulous with a strong sense of responsibility
• Team player and able to work independently
• Good communication / interpersonal skills.
