Software Developer C# .NET (fmdiv.)

Your contribution to something big: 

• Design develop and maintain internal applications that are used by our own employees and improve business processes across departments
• Work with modern technologies such as C# and .NET framework to build scalable and reliable software solutions
• Take ownership of database management and ensure high performance and stability using MS SQL Server
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into efficient technical solutions
• You are not afraid of old code. An important part of your job is to independently analyze maintain and continuously improve existing legacy systems ensuring long-term sustainability
• Explore and integrate AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to help improve our workflow and build smart features into our internal products.
• Support colleagues by solving complex technical issues as part of 2nd level support

Qualifications :

What distinguishes you:

Education

• Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a comparable field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in software development with C#
• Experience working with MS SQL Server and database design
• Experience in understanding user needs and translating them into technical plans

Know-how

• Strong expertise in backend development using C#/.NET
• Solid understanding of old programs. You can quickly and independently get familiar with legacy code and find good solutions to problems
• Interest or initial experience in applying AI tools in software development

Languages

• Very good English skills. German skills at least at B1 level

Working Style and Methods

• Strong communication and organization skills especially in digital collaboration environments

Personality

• Passion for clean maintainable and high-quality code
