We are seeking an experienced and motivatedGeneral Dentist to take on a dual clinical and leadership role within Magpies Dental Practice in Horam (TN21 0EJ). 

This is a unique opportunityto combine hands on patient care and play a central role in how high-quality care is delivered how teams perform and how the practice evolves. With two clear pathways you can shape your role in a way that aligns with how you want to lead and contribute. 

The Opportunity

1. Shared Ownership Model 

Take a meaningful stake in the practice and play a central role in its future. 

Become a partner through a simple transparent shared ownership model 
Share directly in the profitability and long-term success of the practice 
Combine clinical leadership with commercial influence and decision-making 
Shape the direction of the practice from patient care to performance 
Work as part of a wider group with the support scale and infrastructure of PortmanDentex 

This pathway is for clinicians who want to be fully invested in the success of the practice with both influence and reward aligned to performance. 

2. Practice Clinical Lead (PCL) 

Step into a recognised clinical leadership role focused on care standards and team development. 

Work closely with the Practice Manager to drive performance and patient outcomes 
Shape clinical standards protocols and the overall patient journey 
Support mentor and develop the clinical team 
Champion governance best practice and continuous improvement 
Contribute to decision-making and the strategic direction of the practice 

This option is ideal for clinicians who want to lead and influence without taking on an ownership stake. 

About You 

• GDC-registered dentist with strong clinical experience 
• NHS Performer number 
• A natural leader who communicates with clarity and builds trust 
• Committed to high-quality patient-centred care 
• Motivated to develop others and improve how the practice operates 
• Interested in playing a broader role in shaping the future of the practice
