Global Investment Banking Financial Sponsor Group- Analyst

As an Investment Banking professional youll have experience developing strong relationships with financial sponsor clients and working across different products. Youll work on deals and transactions across the spectrum of our banking products including mergers & acquisitions divestitures leveraged finance and equity capital and debt capital raises.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working with senior bankers in originating structuring and executing financing and advisory transactions across various products including M&A IPOs bonds loans and structured products.
• Developing content for marketing/execution materials for maximum client impact.
• Possessing strong financial modeling skills.
• Creating financial models and detailed valuation analysis for pitches / projects.
• Interacting with senior team members and client management teams to execute transactions and identifying and managing all risks in a given deal.
• Supporting and coordinating the analytic work of junior bankers to move marketing / execution process forward.
• Liaising with internal and external parties on transactions (e.g. lawyers accountants counterparties).
• Providing support to senior team members in guiding and training junior bankers and research analysts.
• Supporting client negotiations Q&A process and management interviews.

Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Finance/Economics or a related field from a top tier educational institution.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in investment banking or related experience.
• Strong accounting finance quantitative and business writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with excellent analytical and decision-making capabilities.
• Understands transaction cycle and the steps in the process and is execution oriented.
• Impeccable attention to detail and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals clients and key stakeholders in other lines of business.
• Self-directed highly motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced team-based environment.
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
