We are expanding our finance team and with this exciting development we are looking for a finance professional. You will be part of the Accounting & Financial Control team in Rotterdam consisting of Financial Accountants finance specialists and Accounts Payable Officers. The team holds an exciting mix of nationalities. Whilst our company is growing the level of complexity increases and the scope of the work that is being done is expanding. This team therefore offers an environment that allows you to learn and grow with us and where you can contribute and make a true impact. For this reason we are looking for our new:

Junior Financial Accountant

In this role you will report to the Manager Financial Accounting together with three other enthusiastic colleagues focusing on financial accounting.

The tasks and responsibilities as our Junior Financial Accountant are:

Support in the month end closing and contributing towards timely accurate reliable and complete closing and reporting.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
General ledger activities such as: recording maintaining and reconciling financial transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Actively identifying and support in implementing process enhancements and automation solutions.
Contribute to improving and executing internal controls policies and procedures
Accounts receivable management including ageing analysis monitoring upcoming due payments follow up on issues together with business.
Maintenance of the financial accounting mailbox.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards tax regulations and internal policies.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights ad hoc questions and support and recommendations.

You have a Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues.
You are techsavvy and enthusiastic about leveraging data Power BI and AIdriven tools to support smarter financial decisionmaking.
You have an analytical mindset are curious and eager to learn and enjoy being challenged while gradually creating structure in a dynamic environment..
