Were working with a well-established and fast-growing Managed Service Provider delivering tailored IT solutions to businesses across the UK. With expertise spanning managed IT support cyber security cloud infrastructure backup software licensing hardware procurement virtualisation networking and professional IT services they are recognised for their customer-first approach technical excellence and long-term client partnerships.

Due to continued growth they are looking to appoint an experienced Account Manager to join their Leicester office and play a key role in developing and nurturing existing client relationships.

The Role: Account Manager Managed IT Services

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven Account Manager to manage an established portfolio of business clients ensuring exceptional service delivery while identifying opportunities to grow revenue across managed services cyber security cloud solutions and wider IT infrastructure services.

Youll act as the trusted point of contact for customers building strong long-term partnerships and working closely with internal technical teams to deliver strategic value-led solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with existing business clients across a varied portfolio
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across managed IT support cyber security cloud services backup infrastructure and software solutions
  • Conduct regular account reviews to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction retention and service excellence
  • Act as the main point of contact for client accounts ensuring a smooth and proactive customer experience
  • Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams to provide tailored business solutions
  • Support wider business growth through strategic account development and commercial awareness

What Were Looking For

  • Proven experience in Account Management within an MSP IT services or technology solutions environment
  • Strong understanding of managed IT services cloud solutions and cyber security offerings
  • Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to identify and convert sales opportunities
  • Strong communication relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts strategically and effectively
  • Self-motivated proactive and results-driven approach
