We are seeking an experienced Senior Veterinarian (DVM) to join a modern privately owned veterinary hospital in the Boston area. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity in a fast-growing practice with a clear path toward Director of Operations and multi-site leadership.
Our hospital provides high-quality small animal care (dogs and cats) in a state-of-the-art facility with a collaborative veterinary and support team. You will play a key role in clinical excellence team development and future expansion as the practice grows to 7-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat medical conditions in dogs and cats (medical & surgical care)
- Perform routine and advanced procedures including dentistry and preventive care
- Provide wellness exams vaccinations and client education
- Collaborate with veterinarians the Hospital Manager and the Regional Operations leadership
- Maintain high clinical standards and patient care quality
- Help recruit mentor and develop veterinary team members
- Support efficient hospital operations in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate with referring veterinarians and contribute to case collaboration
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
- 5 years of experience in a veterinary hospital setting
- Eligible for veterinary licensure (CT license eligibility required)
- Strong clinical surgical and leadership skills preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
- $160000 $180000 base salary bonus incentives
