HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Technician (MET) - CNC Programmer/Machinist on behalf of a valued client partner in the precision medical device manufacturing sector. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this Manufacturing Engineering Technician (MET) - CNC Programmer/Machinist opportunity.

We are seeking a senior-level CNC leader who can own machining processes develop CNC programs optimize production cells and drive quality and efficiency in a highly regulated environment. This role requires advanced programming capability hands-on machining expertise strong leadership skills and the ability to support new product introductions while mentoring shop-floor talent.

Key Responsibilities

• Define machining processes and create CNC programs for precision components
• Set up optimize and troubleshoot Mazak and/or Swiss CNC platforms
• Lead machinists and manufacturing assistants within assigned production cells
• Perform First Article Inspections and advanced precision inspections
• Create and maintain setup sheets SOPs work instructions and process controls
• Drive quality throughput efficiency and on-time delivery performance
• Support new product introductions prototype transitions and process development initiatives
• Analyze tooling cycle times and machine performance for continuous improvement
• Ensure adherence to blueprint specifications GD&T and regulatory quality standards
• Mentor team members on machining best practices and technical problem-solving

Required Qualifications (Highly Important)

• 8 years of production machining experience
• 5 years of CNC programming experience in manufacturing environments
• Expert-level CNC machining and programming skills
• Strong CAD/CAM proficiency with ability to program complex parts from drawings/models
• Advanced blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
• Experience leading machinists or overseeing work cells in production settings
• Strong troubleshooting ability across setups tooling programming and process flow
• Ability to maintain quality standards in a regulated precision environment
• Stable employment history with clear progression; candidates with jumpy resumes will not be considered

Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Valued)

• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or related field
• Medical device or other regulated manufacturing experience
• Experience with Mastercam CamWorks or SolidWorks CAM
• Experience with PartMaker for Swiss machining
• Experience with Mazatrol for Mazak machining
• Exposure to new product introduction (NPI) and process validation work
• Strong mentoring and team leadership background

Specialized Role Tracks

Mazak 5-Axis Programmer & Machinist Programs and supports Mazak Integrex Variaxis and related multi-axis equipment.

Swiss Type Programmer & Machinist Programs and supports Star CNC Swiss platforms and complex precision turning operations.

• Less than 5 years CNC programming experience
• No production machining background
• Pure machine operator with no programming capability
• Weak GD&T or blueprint reading knowledge
• No leadership or mentoring experience in machining environments
• Frequent job changes without clear rationale or progression

HireNow Package

• Base Pay: $32.00 $45.00 per hour
• Annualized Compensation: $75000 $120000
• Shift Options:
  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM 7:30 AM
• Work Location: Onsite West Chester Pennsylvania
