As the Occupational Therapist Coordinator youll lead a collaborative team dedicated to supporting students with special needs. Your leadership ensures high-quality therapy services strong partnerships with families and staff and a safe innovative environment for student growth.

This position is a 12-month position and is for immediate hire.

What Youll Need

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution and NYS certification

• Minimum of three years of professional experience in Occupational Therapy

• Demonstrated passion for special education and student success

• Collaborative approach and experience working with multidisciplinary teams

• Strong organizational and communication skills

What Youll Do

• Coordinate and oversee all operations of the OT department reporting to the principal

• Responsible for caseload report writing and caregiver communication

• Deliver OT related classroom instruction sessions

• Supervise and mentor OT staff conduct meetings and lead department training

• Manage scheduling assessments and individualized caseloads for students

• Ensure safety and maintenance of the OT Gym Fine Motor Room and adaptive equipment

• Build strong partnerships with families teachers and outside providers to support each students goals
