We are seeking a talented and creative Entry-Level Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for video production and editing as well as a strong understanding of the latest video editing software and techniques. This is a full-time position with 35 - 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into a polished final product
- Utilize video editing software to create engaging and visually appealing videos
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality videos that align with the companys branding and messaging
- Incorporate music sound effects and other elements to enhance the overall quality of the video
- Ensure all videos are delivered on time and meet the companys standards
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new editing techniques to continuously improve the quality of our videos
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Video Production Film or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in video editing or a similar role
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Strong understanding of video production and editing techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is preferred
