Position: Material Handler Shipping

Schedule: MondayFriday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
Overtime Required: Must be able to work up to 4:30 PM (4060 hours/week as needed)INCLUDING SATURDAYS
Requirements: Background Check Drug Screen Steel Toe Boots Required

$15 PER HOUR Average $500-$900 per week

JOB SUMMARY:

The Material Handler Shipping supports daily warehouse operations by moving preparing and staging materials for outgoing shipments. This role focuses on accuracy efficiency and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Load unload and move materials within the warehouse and shipping areas

• Prepare orders for shipment including palletizing wrapping labeling and staging

• Move materials to and from storage production and shipping areas by hand or with basic equipment

• Verify quantities and inspect materials for damage prior to shipment

• Read work orders and shipping documents to determine assignments

• Record quantities of materials handled using production sheets or work tickets

• Secure shipments using strapping shrink wrap or other protective materials

• Assist with loading trucks and ensuring orders are accurate and complete

• Maintain clean and organized work areas

• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures

• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Previous warehouse shipping or material handling experience

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and reliability

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

• Push/pull up to 150 lbs as needed

• Frequent standing walking bending and lifting throughout shift
