The Role
Working as part of a cross-office conveyancing team your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the team with administration and legal matters relating to the sale and purchase of residential property
Issuing sale contracts and dealing with enquiries mortgage redemptions and providing support across all aspects of residential sale and purchase transactions pre and post completion
Preparing legal documents and correspondence to a high standard
Liaising effectively with clients solicitors lenders estate agents and other third parties throughout the conveyancing process
Maintaining accurate records and upholding a high standard of client care at all times
Ensuring compliance requirements are met throughout each transaction
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a confident and experienced conveyancing professional. This is a demanding role that will suit someone who is comfortable working at pace and can manage a busy caseload support function with accuracy and professionalism.
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Conveyancing Assistant or Conveyancing Paralegal (essential)
Experienced across most aspects of residential conveyancing including sale and purchase transactions
Strong understanding of compliance requirements within a conveyancing environment
Proficient in the use of case management systems
Familiar with the Land Registry portal SDLT online submission system and lender portals
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with all parties
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure
