The Role
Working as part of a cross-office conveyancing team your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the team with administration and legal matters relating to the sale and purchase of residential property
- Issuing sale contracts and dealing with enquiries mortgage redemptions and providing support across all aspects of residential sale and purchase transactions pre and post completion
- Preparing legal documents and correspondence to a high standard
- Liaising effectively with clients solicitors lenders estate agents and other third parties throughout the conveyancing process
- Maintaining accurate records and upholding a high standard of client care at all times
- Ensuring compliance requirements are met throughout each transaction
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a confident and experienced conveyancing professional. This is a demanding role that will suit someone who is comfortable working at pace and can manage a busy caseload support function with accuracy and professionalism.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Conveyancing Assistant or Conveyancing Paralegal (essential)
- Experienced across most aspects of residential conveyancing including sale and purchase transactions
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements within a conveyancing environment
- Proficient in the use of case management systems
- Familiar with the Land Registry portal SDLT online submission system and lender portals
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with all parties
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure
