The Chief Private Banking Officer is responsible for leading the banks private banking division ensuring the delivery of exceptional wealth management services to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. The CPBO will define strategy drive growth and ensure operational excellence while maintaining regulatory compliance and safeguarding the banks reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement the vision and strategy for the private banking division in alignment with overall bank objectives.
Identify growth opportunities new products and services tailored for high-net-worth clients.
Set performance targets and ensure the achievement of revenue and profitability goals.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key clients.
Ensure the highest standard of personalized service including investment advisory estate planning and wealth structuring.
Oversee client acquisition and retention strategies.
Team Leadership and Development
Lead mentor and develop a team of relationship managers wealth advisors and support staff.
Foster a high-performance culture emphasizing client-centricity integrity and collaboration.
Risk Management and Compliance
Ensure all private banking operations comply with regulatory and internal risk management policies.
Oversee due diligence KYC/AML procedures and client onboarding processes.
Monitor market credit and operational risks affecting client portfolios.
Product and Portfolio Management
Collaborate with investment treasury and product teams to deliver competitive offerings.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1215 years of experience in private banking wealth management or financial services leadership roles.
