About the Role

The Project Manager will oversee the delivery of a portfolio of maintenance and capital works projects for our client at Olympic Dam. Reporting to the senior operations manager this role is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects within the Delta FM scope - ensuring they are completed safely on time and within scope. This includes planning execution monitoring and evaluation of projects to support operational excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion ensuring compliance with Delta FM standards and safety requirements
• Develop detailed project plans budgets and timelines
• Coordinate cross-functional teams subcontractors and vendors to deliver projects efficiently
• Monitor progress manage risks and implement corrective actions
• Ensure quality outcomes and continuous improvement in project delivery
• Support delivery of recurring operational initiatives and client-driven projects

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Proven experience in project management within facilities construction or maintenance environments
• Strong understanding of scheduling cost control and contract management
• Ability to manage multiple projects in remote or challenging environments
• Previous leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in MS Project or similar tools
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Able to work independently take initiative and make informed decisions in a fast-paced

Desirable

• Exposure to mining or heavy industrial projects
• Formal qualifications in Project Management or Engineering
• Certification in project management (PMP PRINCE2) desirable
• Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in industrial or remote settings
