Job Purpose
Process Engineer:
Knowledge of paints production processes.
- Build and maintain production process knowledge in area of expertise.
Process improvements.
- Guide operators maintenance QC R&D and planning to realize process improvements.
- Drive opportunities for improvement of process safety process quality and process efficiency and Process Bluebook implementation in the workshop.
- Provide process related technical service to production
Product relocation and product development.
- lead product relocation and product development projects according to scale-up plan for paints
Reports.
- Conduct process Failure mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Management of Change (MOC) procedure for new and adjusted recipes and processes and write Production Release Reports.
Process engineering for investment projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies process technology assessments and process design for investment projects.
- Support new equipment evaluation and installation.
Support Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Working Instruction (WI) design.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure the paints products process under good process control;
- All abnormal process or NG batch should be investigated at the first time
- All paints products relate machine should be under tracking to ensure good running situation.
- Support Production manager/supervisor to train the operators to ensure charging/filling accuracy.
- Lead the related projections to improve the production efficiency.
- Optimize shop floor resources & capacity so that all key team & department KPIs are met 充分使用现有的资源和产能以达成关键团队和部门的所有关键绩效指标
- Trouble shoot and de-bottleneck production capacity as and when its necessary在需要的时候对产能进行故障查找和瓶颈分析以达成目标
- Manage and monitor work in progress (WIP) /semi-finished goods (SFG) inventory to ensure the traceability and accurately maintained管理和监控在制品和半成品库存以确保库存的可追溯性和准确性得到维持
- Initiate and lead in root cause analysis (RCA) for process and quality issues; Coordinate with the relevant department on reworking of slow moving and obsolete stock对工艺和质量问题发起并领导根本原因分析配合相关部门处理异常库存如滞销淘汰等
- Ensure all processes comply with fully align with AkzoNobel code of conduct local compliances HSES policies SOP and quality management system ie ISO 18000 etc to achieve the required quality standard and operational excellences确保所有的流程遵循和符合Akzonobel的行为准则当地要求HSES政策标准作业程序和质量管理系统要求如ISO等以符合质量标准要求并达成卓越运营
Experience
- University degree in Chemical Engineering/application.
- Experience in R&D Process Lab or Production unit related to paint technology is preferred
- Pragmatic and hands-on mentality
- Can use English for speaking and writing.
- Good communication skills
- Excellent working attitude engaged accurate to the point and proactive.
- Basic knowledge to work with PC and applications (spreadsheets text documents) to do reporting
