Job Summary
Job Summary:
The Executive Chef at Hilton Mystic is responsible for overseeing all culinary operations within the hotel including on-site restaurant banquet and catering services and in-room dining. This is a full-time management role with a salary of up $ per year paid biweekly. The Executive Chef will ensure the highest quality of food and service is provided to guests while maintaining a profitable and efficient operation.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of culinary operations including menu planning food preparation and presentation
- Create and maintain recipes and standards for all food items served on property
- Train manage and mentor a team of cooks and kitchen staff
- Monitor food and labor costs and make adjustments as needed to maintain profitability
- Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with other departments such as Banquets and Sales to ensure successful execution of events and functions
- Create and implement special menus for holidays and events
- Maintain inventory and order necessary supplies and equipment
- Foster a positive and productive working environment for all kitchen staff
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in culinary management preferably in a hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations including menu planning and costing food preparation and food safety
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively train and manage a team
- Creativity and skills in developing new and innovative menu items
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
