Finance Manager Hong Kong Taiwan and Mongolia
You will serve as the finance lead for our Consumer Hearing Business across Hong Kong Taiwan and Mongolia overseeing all finance accounting and controlling activities. You will partner closely with the regional finance team and corporate finance to support annual planning monthly rolling forecasts and business decision-making. As a key contact for external auditors local authorities and thirdparty institutions across the three markets you will ensure strong internal financial controls full compliance with group policies and timely accurate return for your expertise and dedication you will gain broad exposure to regional strategy lead process improvements in a fastpaced environment and accelerate your career with one of the worlds leading hearing care providers.
You will be based in Hong Kong reporting directly to the Head of Finance CHB Greater China.
More about the role:
In this role you will be the finance business partner driving operational excellence and strategic alignment across three dynamic markets.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Support monthly closing financial analysis and consolidation of results for CHB Hong Kong and CHB Guangzhou (R&D office). Conduct variance analysis between budget rolling forecast and actuals providing actionable insights to business leaders.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Strengthen internal control frameworks and ensure risk levels (profitability AR AP cash flow taxation) remain within guidelines. Implement micro-level pre-control by reviewing contracts orders payments and sales agreements for compliance and financial accuracy.
- Statutory & External Reporting: Prepare and support local statutory requirements including tax submissions reconciliations and compliance documentation for Hong Kong Taiwan and Mongolia (with external consultant support). Ensure all practices comply with Sonova DOA and internal audit standards.
- Management Reporting & Systems: Extract business intelligence from JDE Cognos and other reporting systems to prepare efficient and accurate management reports. Continuously improve processes by identifying inefficiencies updating SOPs and aligning with best practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Finance CHB Greater China to develop reporting packages reflecting product channel and operational performance. Support regional and corporate finance on operational and strategic projects. Collaborate with crossfunctional stakeholders to investigate deviations and ensure accurate implementation of annual plans.
More about you:
- 10 years of finance experience preferably in trading/distribution or retail operations with at least 3 years in a Controller / Finance Manager capacity.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or related discipline. CPA ACCA or equivalent qualification is required.
- Experience in internal audit risk management or internal control frameworks is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills with high attention to detail. Ability to work independently and thrive in a fastpaced environment.
- High integrity with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information. Proactive wellorganized and selfdriven.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across markets. A collaborative team player with a flexible and positive attitude.
- Solid knowledge of finance accounting standards and relevant regulations in Hong Kong and China (for covering Guangzhou). Good understanding of risk management principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems BI tools and advanced MS Excel & PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and spoken English. Mandarin proficiency is preferred.
