Our organization is a growing and dynamic business and operates in our two facilities just off of Hwy. 36 in Lindsay Ontario. Career Advancement: Clear pathways for growth within the Responsibilities:Embody and promote companys core values (Integrity Growth and Resilience).Maintain compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA) and all applicable legislative changes and make recommendations for improvements to policies and the development of the companys Health & Safety Management as the main contact for the Ministry of Labour (MOL) regulatory agencies and other service all WSIB interactions and coordinate workplace accommodation regular risk assessments and job hazard and implement corrective actions to inspections investigations and occupational safety activities across with leaders on investigations of workplace incidents near misses and findings and develop action plans to prevent training to leaders and employees on occupational safety third-party training programs (e.g. Forklift Certification Working at Heights etc.).Promote a culture of safety through awareness campaigns and toolbox and update emergency response drills and ensure readiness for firechemical and other potential Co-Chairofthe Chemical Management the Chemical Management guidance and recommendations during committee contractors and visitorscomply withsite safety contractor safety plans before work additional responsibilities as You Are:Diploma or Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related certification training (e.g. CRSP or CRST) is Certification Valid First Aid Confined Space Lock out Tag out EWP Lift Truck Fall Protection are years experience in occupational health and safety in an industrial knowledge and understanding of English communication skills (both verbal and written).Ability to work effectively alone and prioritize be a highly motivated service and team-oriented individual with attention to thank all applicants for their interest inMariposa those selected for an interview will be contacted.
