POSITION SUMMARY

ROWE is currently looking for a Survey Crew Chief to join our team. The Survey Crew Chief is responsible for researching previous survey evidence maps deeds physical evidence and other records to obtain data for determining precise location and measurements of point elevations lines areas and contours for construction map making land division titles and/or other purposes. This position will play a big role in growing our Survey team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Extensive fieldwork in all weather conditions and varying types of physical environments.
• Determining methods and procedures for establishing/reestablishing survey control.
• Keeping accurate notes records and sketches to describe and certify work performed.
• Operating GPS and Robotic Total Stations
• Managing project field tasks and team members.
• Maintaining equipment and survey vehicle.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking forward-thinking safety-conscious and energetic individuals who are excited to work on both small-scale and large-scale projects. Required qualifications include:

• High school diploma or equivalent with a strong aptitude for math.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience performing survey field work.
• Experience with AutoCAD MicroStation robotic instruments and GPS preferred.
• Strong attention to detail excellent analytical/judgment capabilities and ability to work independently or on a team.
