Job Summary
Veterinary Medical Director San Diego CA
An established small animal practice is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its supportive and collaborative medical team. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who values high-quality patient care strong client relationships and a positive team environment. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics treatment planning and surgical procedures
- Guide and support clinical team members through mentorship and leadership
- Oversee quality of care and patient outcomes
- Support staff development training and performance
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Build strong client relationships through clear communication and education
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active veterinary license in good standing (or eligibility)
- 3 years of clinical experience (leadership experience preferred)
- Strong clinical surgical and diagnostic skills
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to high-quality patient-centered care
