Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Therapist (SLP) to join an acute care team in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate diagnose and treat speech language cognitive and swallowing disorders
Provide therapy services to acute care patients including ICU stroke and neurological cases
Assess and manage dysphagia and respiratory-related communication challenges
Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary teams for patient care planning
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
Follow physician orders and hospital protocols for therapy services
Requirements
Minimum 1518 months of recent experience in Speech Therapy
Active Georgia SLP License
CCC-SLP Certification (required)
BLS Certification (required)
Experience in acute care setting preferred
MBS/FEES proficiency is a plus (not mandatory)
Work Environment
Acute Care Speech Therapy Department
Exposure to diverse patient population including:
ICU patients
Stroke and neurological cases
Dysphagia and respiratory conditions
Medical and surgical cases
