Job Summary
Are you ready to manage the dynamic world of LPG shipping and operations Join us to take on a pivotal role in ensuring smooth and efficient commercial operations from vessel coordination to claims management. Be part of a team where your expertise will make a real impact.
What you will do:
Oversee LPG shipping operations coordinating cargo matters and vessel movements with external stakeholders.
Manage bunkering operations to optimize costs and ensure fuel supply for the LPG fleet.
Provide clear voyage instructions and coordinate agency and surveyor nominations.
Handle claims such as demurrage and manage dispute resolution with shipping partners and terminals.
Act as the primary internal contact for departments like legal trade finance risk and accounts for invoicing and billing matters.
Review and maintain records of contracts charter party agreements bunker stems and cargo documentation (e.g. BL COO LOI).
Maintain and update internal software systems with operational data.
Support traders by analyzing shipping costs and identifying opportunities for risk mitigation and efficiency improvements.
What you bring & who you are:
At least 5 years of experience in LPG shipping operations with a focus on USFEA trades.
Expertise in LPG shipping including cargo handling tank management and voyage performance optimization.
Strong background in bunkering operations including fuel quality specifications and supply planning.
Proven experience in handling demurrage claims and commercial dispute resolution.
Knowledge of LPG regulatory frameworks and international maritime standards.
Proficiency in shipping operations software (e.g. voyage management systems) and ERP/ETRM systems like Endur (advantageous).
Excellent analytical organizational and time-management skills.
Professional communication skills in English (written and verbal; additional languages are a plus).
Bachelors degree in Maritime Studies Logistics Business Administration or a related field (professional certifications in shipping are a plus).
