Job Description
Our client is looking for an FP&A Analyst to join their finance team in Malta on a hybrid basis.
The role will focus on financial reporting analysis budgeting forecasting and supporting senior finance stakeholders with clear insights that help guide business decisions within a fast paced digital environment.
Location: Hybrid - Gzira
Responsibilities:
As a Financial Planning Analyst your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Prepare monthly quarterly and yearly financial reports including P&L balance sheet and cash flow reporting.
Analyse financial performance highlighting trends variances risks and opportunities.
Support the budgeting and forecasting process including tracking actual performance against planned figures.
Maintain accurate financial data across internal reporting tools and finance systems.
Work closely with different departments to collect and validate data needed for reporting and analysis.
Assist with management reports business reviews and ad hoc financial projects.
Ensure reporting is accurate consistent and aligned with internal policies and accounting standards.
Support the Head of Controlling with deeper financial analysis and business performance insights.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a similar field.
Minimum of 3 years experience in financial analysis reporting controlling or a similar finance position.
ACCA CIMA CPA or similar qualification would be considered an asset.
Strong Excel skills including pivots lookups formulas and financial modelling.
Experience using ERP reporting or finance systems.
Exposure to Power BI Tableau or similar visualisation tools would be beneficial.
Previous experience in iGaming affiliate marketing or a fast paced online business would be a strong plus.
Strong attention to detail analytical mindset and ability to explain financial information clearly.
Comfortable working with different teams and supporting senior stakeholders with accurate useful data.
