Senior Consultant – AVEVA PI System Operational Technology (OT) Innovation

Position: Senior AVEVA PI / OT Innovation Consultant (PI AF PI Vision OT Systems)
Location: Hybrid Local to Halifax Regional Municipality (Nova Scotia)
Structure: 2-Year Contract Optional 3rd Year Extension
Pay: Up to $110$120 p/h (7-hour workday)

Requirements:

5 years of experience delivering AVEVA / OSIsoft PI System solutions
Deep expertise with PI Asset Framework (AF) including templates elements attributes analyses Event Frames and hierarchy development
Hands-on experience designing and building dashboards and visualizations using PI Vision 2020 (PI Vision 2024 strongly preferred)
Experience with PI interfaces and connectors including OPC UA PI-to-PI buffering and PI Web API
Strong experience developing KPIs calculations derived metrics and operational dashboards
Experience modernizing PI interfaces historian environments and OT data ecosystems
Proven experience implementing data governance tag standards validation frameworks and lifecycle management
Experience with historian performance tuning optimization and operational reliability
Strong understanding of OT / industrial environments supporting mission-critical infrastructure
Knowledge of segmented OT/IT networks OT cybersecurity practices and historian security governance
Experience defining datasets for business intelligence and analytics tools
Ability to conduct AF gap analysis update templates optimize data structures and deliver production-ready PI Vision display packages

Assets:
Utility industry experience
DeltaV historian / OPC environments
SAFe PMI-DASM CSM or ITIL certifications
