Position Summary
The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician will serve as a subject matter expert in a specific production department troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment to maximize production uptime. This role involves both reactive maintenance and scheduled preventative maintenance activities with flexibility to support day or rotating shifts.
Must-Haves
Multi-craft experience in Electrical Mechanical and Electronics
PLC hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge
One of the following: Associates degree in Electronics General Technology Robotics or related field with at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience; OR completion of an apprenticeship program with at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience; OR at least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
Extreme flexibility to support a wide range of maintenance activities
Openness to both day and rotating shift assignments
Compliance with all safety regulations
Primary Functions
Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment systems to maximize production uptime
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and calibration on manufacturing equipment
Maintain equipment for industrial production industrial processing pipeline distribution systems and conveyors
Partner with Engineering team to install test and release equipment
Inspect parts for damage and wear
Test and observe running machinery
Record activities in a CMMS system
Required Skills
Knowledge of various PLCs and networking communications (EtherNet/IP ControlNet DeviceNet)
AC Drives Motors Encoder and Resolver troubleshooting
Calibration of flow level pressure and temperature devices and loops
Familiarity with bearings conveying systems gearboxes equipment rebuilds and repairs
Familiarity with automation and distributed control system architectures within manufacturing and processing systems
Familiarity with hydraulic systems pneumatic systems and rotating equipment
Ability to read and use blueprints schematics manuals technical drawings work orders test results and machine error messages
Proficiency with hoists lifts grinders hand tools power tools welding equipment and testing equipment
