Job Summary
Maintenance Technician
Shift: Monday Friday 1st Shift (9:00 AM 5:00 PM)
Pay: $25 $28/hour
Location: Durham NC
What Youll Be Doing
Were looking for a hands-on Maintenance Tech who can handle a little bit of everything. This role is all about keeping buildings and equipment running right. Youll be doing repairs preventative maintenance and general upkeep across the facility.
If youve worked with tools and systems like plumbing electrical HVAC or general repairs this is a solid opportunity.
Day-to-Day Work
- Handle preventative maintenance and work orders
- Fix basic plumbing issues (clogs leaks replacing fixtures)
- Perform light electrical work (switches outlets lighting ballasts)
- Do general repairs like patching drywall painting and carpentry work
- Replace parts and keep equipment in good working order
- Keep the building clean and maintained (basic upkeep trash minor grounds work)
- Complete inspections and document work in the system
- Order and gather parts/materials needed for jobs
- Follow all safety rules and attend safety meetings
What Were Looking For
- 25 years of hands-on maintenance experience
- Skills in multiple trades (electrical plumbing carpentry HVAC is a plus)
- Comfortable using tools phones or tablets to log work
- Able to read basic instructions and complete reports
- Team player with a strong work ethic
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- Valid drivers license
- Experience using a maintenance system (CMMS) is a plus
