Overview

The Top Gun Leadership Development Program is designed to invest in future leaders of Cornerstone Caregiving immersing candidates in the home care industry alongside a tenured Operating Director. Candidates will gain insight into marketing recruiting scheduling and more. Upon successful completion of the program candidates will receive the keys to their own location advancing into the Operating Director role within Cornerstone Caregiving.

Program Outline

Compensation: Fully funded lodging meals and transportation plus $1000 weekly stipend.

* Medical dental and vision benefits are available upon the transition into the Operating Director role.

Duration: 5 to 12 weeks dependent on training schedule and hire date

Structure:

  • 1 week of intensive training in Waco Texas
  • 4 to 11 weeks in the field alongside top-performing Operating Directors

* Flexibility around location of field training is preferred. However certain circumstances will be reviewed by the leadership team.

Development:

  • Weekly evaluations and one-on-one check-ins with the Top Gun leadership team
  • Performance-based advancement throughout the program
  • Continuous professional development throughout the program duration and beyond

Final Discussion: Candidates provide a comprehensive overview of their time in the program with the Top Gun leadership team. Upon successful completion candidates will be extended an offer to an Operating Director role.

Operating Director Responsibilities

As the director you will independently manage and lead this branch along with unparalleled and ongoing corporate training and support.

  • Business Development: Develop and execute a marketing plan to establish Cornerstone as the preferred in-home care provider.
  • Referral building: Cultivate and manage relationships with referral partners (hospitals hospices senior living etc.).
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Hiring and onboarding new team members and ensuring all shifts are properly staffed. Monitor on-call responsibilities as calls come from clients caregivers and partners.
  • In-home Assessments: Build strong client relationships conduct intakes and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: Oversee office budget that is reflected in profit and loss statements.
  • Cultivating Culture: Creating the workplace of choice for your territory. Set your own standard through incentivizing motivating setting the tone of your team morale.
