Position Summary
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team in a permanent full-time backfill role. You will apply your expertise to the planning design development and testing of electrical equipment and systems while receiving mentorship from senior-level professionals. This position offers excellent opportunities to support automation initiatives and contribute to plant objectives.
Must-Haves
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and industrial automation
- Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs remote I/O and HMI systems
- Strong knowledge of Rockwell software suite
- Demonstrated PLC programming and troubleshooting expertise
- Experience with industrial Ethernet communication and machine network layout
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong work ethic and self-starter mentality
- Budget management experience
Primary Functions
- Design develop and troubleshoot medium voltage systems and machine control systems
- Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs and associated automation equipment
- Support the planning and testing of electrical systems and components
- Manage capital and expense budgets in alignment with plant objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize electrical infrastructure
- Assist in continuous improvement and automation projects
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on electrical initiatives
Required Skills
