Position Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team in a permanent full-time backfill role. You will apply your expertise to the planning design development and testing of electrical equipment and systems while receiving mentorship from senior-level professionals. This position offers excellent opportunities to support automation initiatives and contribute to plant objectives.

Must-Haves

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and industrial automation
• Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs remote I/O and HMI systems
• Strong knowledge of Rockwell software suite
• Demonstrated PLC programming and troubleshooting expertise
• Experience with industrial Ethernet communication and machine network layout
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong work ethic and self-starter mentality
• Budget management experience

Primary Functions

• Design develop and troubleshoot medium voltage systems and machine control systems
• Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs and associated automation equipment
• Support the planning and testing of electrical systems and components
• Manage capital and expense budgets in alignment with plant objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize electrical infrastructure
• Assist in continuous improvement and automation projects
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on electrical initiatives
