Job Summary
Conceptualize design program troubleshoot andoptimizeautomation control systems andhardware for plant and building and direct CQC Electrical Engineering Departmentacross all North American skillsmanpower and excellence across all sites. Work with integrators to design hardware and software systems for complex control and automation applications. Develop and apply electrical control master plan to all CQC facility electrical systems including automation and power distribution systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Lead team responsible for electrical and controls engineering for all capital projects including greenfield development
- Assignand leadelectricalengineering department resources to projects asneeded
- Developelectricalengineering department personnelsskillset
- Conduct performance evaluations and coach personnel development withinelectricalengineeringdepartment
- Write revise review and approve detailedfunctionalspecifications forautomatedcontrolsystems
- Develop technology roadmap for CQCautomation andelectricalprojects
- Work closely with otherengineering disciplines to ensuretimelyand efficient execution ofprojects
- Designdraw review and approve building electrical distribution systems including480VAC-24VDC
- Program automation control systems for plant processes and building automation
- Direct contractors/vendors on activities related toprojects
- Manageautomation relatedcontinuousimprovementprojects
- Create and updateelectricalschematics for panel building and control systemwiring
- Identifyand order electrical hardware as necessary to supportcapitalprojects
- Support daily activities between Wisconsin manufacturing facilities
- Travel domestically to support electrical department personnel and implementation of electrical systems within CQC
- Perform all tasks assigned by the supervisor while following allcompanysafetyand quality policies and procedures
- Maintain regular attendance atwork
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in electrical-related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Minimum5yearsofexperience inelectrical PLCprogramming andindustrialelectricaldistributionin a manufacturing environment preferably foodmanufacturing.
- Experience withSiemenshardware and softwarepreferred
- Fluentwith UL Standards NEC Codes (NFPA 70 70E and 79)
- Fluentin AutoCAD Electrical and Standard
- Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and Project
- Must have a drivers license and good driving record
