Job Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Economics at the PGT level adhering to the curriculum prescribed by the school.
- Plan prepare and present lessons that cater to the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess and evaluate students progress providing constructive feedback to foster academic growth.
- Implement innovative teaching methodologies to stimulate interest and understanding in Economics among students.
- Encourage and supervise students in extracurricular activities related to Economics and social sciences.
- Maintain an organized and safe learning environment promoting respect and discipline in the classroom.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience of students.
- Engage with parents and guardians on learners academic performance and development.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in the field of Economics and education practices.
Essential Qualifications
- Masters degree in Economics or a related field from a recognized university.
- Bachelors degree in Education () is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Economics concepts and their application in real-world scenarios.
Desired Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a similar role preferably at the senior secondary level.
- Experience in using modern teaching aids and technology in the classroom.
- Proven track record of fostering a positive learning environment and achieving student success.
