Job Summary
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group tutoring sessions in Mathematics to students preparing for SAT and ACT.
- Develop customized lesson plans and study materials based on individual student needs and learning styles.
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to help improve academic performance.
- Utilize various teaching methodologies to engage students effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate with parents/guardians regarding progress and areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in standardized testing and educational strategies.
- Participate in professional development workshops and training sessions.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mathematics Education or a related field.
- Strong command of mathematical concepts and problem-solving techniques.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to engage and motivate students in a virtual environment.
- Proficiency in using technology for teaching and online tutoring.
Desired Experience:
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching Mathematics particularly for standardized tests.
- Familiarity with SAT and ACT test formats and preparation strategies.
- Experience in creating engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Proven track record of helping students achieve their academic goals.
