Job Summary
An experienced Product Compliance Engineer is needed to ensure machines meet European and global regulatory standards with a focus on safety systems and system compliance. The position offers the opportunity to work from home while traveling across Europe and China to support compliance training and audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the safety compliance of machine control systems including Functional Safety and Cybersecurity.
- Ensure products meet regulatory standards during the design process through audits and collaboration with global engineering teams.
- Provide regulatory support to R&D and sales teams offering expertise on legislation and market requirements.
- Act as a consultant to internal product groups and contribute to the development of national standards.
- Frequent travel to China (up to 60 days per year) to provide hands-on compliance training and support.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 years in system engineering with a focus on safety compliance for machinery.
- Strong knowledge of key safety and cybersecurity standards (e.g. EN ISO 19014 ISO 26262 IEC 61508 IEC 62443).
- Experience with agricultural machinery off-highway vehicles or industrial systems is beneficial.
- Degree in engineering or related field
- Expertise in delivering complex product compliance in electrical mechanical or software engineering.
- Strong attention to detail effective communicator and team player with experience in coaching and training others.
