We are looking for technicians who can support Vehicle system programs with a focus on Testing diagnostics troubleshooting and general system support. The emphasis is on electrical systems wire harnesses and system-level software rather than traditional mechanical repair. Candidates from automotive aerospace medical devices robotics or similar technical fields are encouraged to apply and automotive experience is not required.
Proficient with hand tools and electrical test equipment (multimeters continuity testers oscilloscopes power supplies etc.).
Experience using diagnostic logging flashing or network analysis tools to troubleshoot hardware and software systems
Ability to read and follow schematics wiring diagrams manuals and technical procedures.
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Experience working in a lab or shop environment including tool and inventory management.
Team player.
Pluses:
Experience troubleshooting vehicle or embedded system software.
Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN LIN or Ethernet.
Experience with sensors calibration or system validation testing.
Roles & Responsibilities
Collaborate on & assemble test platforms - Create the Stuff that enables HW to be utilized in a lab. Including but not limited to - Fixturing wiring cooling.
Perform hands-on inspection testing and troubleshooting of electrical and electromechanical systems.
Read interpret and troubleshoot wire harnesses wiring diagrams schematics and pinouts.
Capture escalate & diagnose HW & SW issues encountered when commissioning & maintaining test platforms; Use OEM or system-level tools to read diagnostics logs and system status and support root cause analysis.
Navigate documentation and database systems to locate procedures and record results.
Support system validation activities and assist with issue resolution in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
