Job Summary
Job Title: Senior FPGA Design Engineer

Schedule: 9/80 (Every other Friday off)
Role Overview
Design and verify FPGA-based firmware for tactical communication systems. This role focuses on building high-performance digital logic for radio modem and signal processing applications within embedded systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop FPGA firmware using VHDL/Verilog
- Build and execute verification environments using SystemVerilog
- Implement DSP algorithms and communication signal processing
- Translate system requirements into FPGA architectures
- Integrate firmware with hardware and debug real-time systems
- Create technical documentation test plans and design reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
Required Technical Skills (with Experience)
- Strong FPGA development using VHDL/Verilog 7 years experience
- FPGA verification using SystemVerilog 5 years experience
- FPGA tools (Vivado Quartus Libero)
- DSP & communication systems (modem/RF processing)
- Embedded systems integration
- Linux development environment
Preferred Skills
- MATLAB / Simulink 3 years experience
- Python / TCL scripting 3 years experience
- UVM verification methodology
- RF modem design
- Version control (Git SVN)
