Job Description:

Job Title: Sr. Project Manager-Federal Region

Location: Los Angeles CA (LAX Onsite 0 3 times per week)
Duration: 12 months

Rate: $70-75/hr on W2

Overview

Senior Project Manager to support a key customer engagement. This role is part of WWTs Strategic Resourcing services and will be employed through a preferred partner.

Key Requirements

  • Must be willing to work onsite at LAX (0 3 times per week)
  • Infrastructure Project/Program Management experience required

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple large complex projects with multiple workstreams
  • Develop detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) with interdependencies and critical path analysis
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Quickly learn platforms (e.g. Empower) and track project financials accurately
  • Maintain an excellent customer service mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Develop and execute internal and external communication strategies across all levels of management
  • Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders
  • Build and strengthen customer and stakeholder relationships (internal & external)
  • Create and maintain resource plans ensuring effective resource allocation across projects
  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to improve execution and efficiency
  • Implement quality assurance and engagement review processes
  • Ensure profitable and successful project delivery aligned with goals and customer feedback
  • Proactively manage scope changes
  • Develop and execute risk management plans
  • Analyze project financials including revenue margins bill rates and utilization
  • Ensure projects are delivered within budget
  • Oversee quality and timely execution of deliverables

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4 years of Technical Project Management experience
  • Experience in Professional Services or Managed Services environments (must have led external customer-facing projects)
  • Experience supporting Global Financial customers
  • Domain expertise in one or more areas:
    • Networking
    • Storage
    • Virtualization
    • Cloud
    • Security
    • Collaboration (Unified Communications)
  • Experience with multisite deployments (e.g. Wireless Wi-Fi POS)
  • Strong understanding of project management principles (theoretical & practical)
  • PMP and/or CAPM certification (preferred)
  • Knowledge of financial processes and ability to analyze/create financial reports (preferably in Clarity)
  • Experience in people management strategic planning and change management
  • Proven risk management expertise with ability to communicate to leadership
  • Strong stakeholder analysis skills
  • Ability to work independently and track against project timelines
  • Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (written verbal presentation)
  • Ability to influence and lead teams
  • Strong team-building skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency with project management tools/software
